Overview
The Foundation in Business is a comprehensive one-year preparatory program designed to equip students with essential knowledge, skills, and academic grounding for success in undergraduate business studies. This program lays a strong interdisciplinary foundation across key areas such as management, marketing, economics, accounting, and computing — setting the stage for seamless progression into business degree programs. Students will explore core business concepts while developing critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. The curriculum is structured to balance theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, ensuring students are future-ready and confident to take on the challenges of a bachelor’s degree.
Course Duration: Minimum 20 months
Location: 30% of face-to-face learning includes six sessions at MUST campus, Kota Damansara, each lasting four days. Online classes are conducted through various platforms according to the KEDGE faculty members.

Academic Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
– A Pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by MQA; OR
– Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

By the end of the programme, students will be able to:

- Communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Utilise basic digital technology applications to seek and process data related to a specific field of study; and
- Search, interpret, and use relevant information to pursue lifelong learning independently.
