ACCREDITATION OF PRIOR EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (APEL)
What is APEL.A?
Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Access (APEL.A) is defined as a systematic process that involves the identification, documentation and assessment of prior experiential learning, i.e., knowledge, skills and attitudes, for admission/access into a programme of study under the various Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) levels.
APEL.A provides opportunities for individuals with work experience but lacking or without academic qualifications to pursue studies in Higher Education Institutions.
MUST open for admission to three (3) levels of studies, which are:
- Bachelor’s Degree (APEL T-6);
- Master’s Degree (APEL T-7); and
- Doctoral Degree (APEL T-8).
