Overview
The PhD in Transportation and Logistics at the Center for Postgraduate Studies (CPS) is a fully research-based program designed for candidates aiming to advance knowledge and innovation in the fields of transportation systems, supply chain management, and logistics. With Research Methodology as the only taught component, the program emphasizes independent, original research under the close supervision of experienced faculty. Candidates are encouraged to address real-world challenges and contribute to sustainable, efficient, and technology-driven solutions. This program prepares graduates for impactful careers in academia, research, industry leadership, and policy-making in transportation and logistics sectors.

Course Duration: Minimum 20 months
Location: 30% of face-to-face learning includes six sessions at MUST campus, Kota Damansara, each lasting four days. Online classes are conducted through various platforms according to the KEDGE faculty members.

Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 but below 2.50, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
– Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
– A Pass at Level 7 Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) assessment by MQA; OR
– Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.
